Salim Distro is a licensed Maine tobacco and vapor distributor, and Maine is one of the states we currently ship vapor and nicotine products to, for licensed retailers. If you run a smoke shop, vape shop, convenience store or gas station in Maine, this page covers what we ship, how it gets to Portland, Lewiston, Bangor, Augusta, Biddeford and Saco, what paperwork we check, and how to open a wholesale account.
Wholesale vape products we ship to Maine
Vapor and nicotine. Wholesale disposable vapes, nicotine pouches and e-liquids ship to Maine retailers holding a valid license that we have verified for Maine. Brands in the catalog include Geek Bar, RAZ, Foger, Lost Mary, Viho, Pulsar, Juice Head and ZYN, sold by the display or the case, with catalog availability confirmed before fulfillment.
Smoke shop supplies. disposable vapes, nicotine pouches, e-liquids, rolling papers, lighters and torches, grinders, glass, silicone pipes, digital scales, 510 batteries, fragrances, hookah charcoal. These ship to approved retail accounts in Maine and nationwide, and they do not wait on the vapor check.
Every product page carries a badge that says which rule applies. A mixed cart follows the stricter rule, and checkout names any item that limits your ship-to options so you can split the order if you want the accessories to leave first.
How wholesale orders reach Maine
Maine is home. Our warehouse is at 151 Walton St in Portland, so a Maine order does not have to travel at all: pick it up free at the warehouse, Monday to Friday 9 to 5 or Saturday 10 to 5, or take same-day delivery for $25 anywhere within 50 miles of Portland. Both options appear at checkout automatically when your ship-to address is in Maine. Shops farther up the coast or inland get UPS Ground from the same building.
Ground shipping is calculated from live package weight and your delivery ZIP and shown before you place the order, so the total you approve is the total you pay. Every vapor package requires an adult signature on delivery. There is no minimum order once your account is approved, so a Maine store can restock one display or a full shelf on the same terms.
Maine paperwork we check
Salim Distro LLC is on the Maine Revenue Services tobacco distributor list, which is the first thing many Maine owners check before they open an account with a new supplier. That listing is ours, and it is the license every vapor shipment from this warehouse moves under. This page is about nicotine vapor and tobacco products for licensed retailers; we do not sell cannabis products.
Excise tax rates and who remits them change by state and by year. Our vape excise tax guide keeps the Maine line current, and our license requirements guide explains what a retail account needs on file before vapor ships.
What to check in a Maine vape distributor
Most Maine owners compare a few suppliers before they commit. The questions that separate a distributor from a reseller are simple, and here is how we answer them.
- Is the distributor licensed for Maine? We are a licensed Maine tobacco distributor, and we verify your Maine license before vapor ships, so both sides of the sale are on file.
- Does it own the inventory? Everything ships from stock in our own Portland warehouse. Nothing is drop-shipped from a third party, which is why an order stays on one invoice.
- Is there a minimum? None after approval. Order a single display to test a flavor before you commit shelf space.
- Is the price you see the price you pay? Shipping is calculated and shown before you place the order. Wholesale pricing is visible once your account is approved.
- Who answers the phone? A person at (207) 521-4265, during business hours, who can see your order.
Pickup and same-day delivery for southern Maine shops
Because the warehouse is in Portland, Maine shops get two options no other state does. Free pickup at the warehouse, and $25 same-day delivery anywhere within 50 miles of Portland. That covers South Portland, Westbrook, Scarborough, Gorham, Windham, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Freeport, Brunswick, Bath, Saco, Biddeford, Kennebunk, Sanford, Lewiston and Auburn. Shops in Augusta, Waterville, Bangor and further north get ground shipping from the same building.
Maine vape excise tax in 2026
Maine raised its tax on vapor products to 75% of the cost price on January 5, 2026, up from 43% (36 M.R.S. § 4403(2)). Maine taxes disposables, pods and bottled e-liquid the same way, and the tax is remitted by the distributor or remote retail seller, not by the shop. For the full table across every state, see our vape excise tax by state guide.
Maine retail license for vapor products
To sell vapor or tobacco in Maine, a store needs a retail license issued through the Maine DHHS Health Inspection Program, in the business name on the account. That is the license we verify before your first vapor order ships. Our vape wholesale license requirements guide covers what every state asks for.
