Terms & Conditions

Salim Distro LLC is a licensed Maine tobacco distributor. We sell at wholesale to licensed retailers only. These terms explain how buying from us works, in plain language. This page is informational and is not legal advice. Confirm your own obligations with your counsel and your state.

Who we sell to

We sell only to approved, licensed retailers buying for resale: smoke shops, convenience stores, and gas stations. We do not sell to consumers, and our products are not for personal use.

  • You must hold the tobacco and business licenses your state and locality require.
  • You must be buying for lawful resale, not for personal consumption.
  • Every buyer and account is age-verified as 21 or older at checkout.

Account approval and license verification

Wholesale access starts with an approved account. We verify your license and business details before your first order. If a license lapses or cannot be verified, we may pause the account until it is current. You can start the process on our apply page.

Pricing is gated and confidential

Wholesale pricing is visible only to approved accounts. Prices, quotes, and terms we share with you are confidential and for your business alone. Please do not republish or forward them.

Payment and terms

  • We accept major cards, ACH, and wire.
  • Approved accounts may qualify for net terms. There is no rolling reserve.
  • Invoices are per order: one order, one box, one invoice.

Title, risk, and delivery

We ship from one warehouse in the Portland, Maine region to ME, MT, KS, VT, and OH, including fast regional self-delivery in Maine. Unless we agree otherwise in writing: when we deliver to your location, title and risk of loss pass to you at delivery; when a carrier ships to you, they pass to you once we hand the goods to the carrier.

Your compliance and taxes

Once product reaches you, you are responsible for your own state and local compliance: applicable excise and sales taxes, permits, product registrations, flavor rules, and lawful resale. Rules differ by state and change often, so confirm what applies to you.

Limitation of liability

We stand behind what we ship. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the products at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Questions? Reach a real person at sales@salimdistro.com.
