Salim Distro LLC is a licensed Maine tobacco distributor selling wholesale to licensed retailers only. This page explains what business information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It is written in plain language so you know exactly where you stand.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to verify that you are a licensed retailer and to fulfill your orders. That includes:
- Business name and legal entity type
- Contact name, email, and phone number
- Shipping and billing address
- Tobacco or vape license number
- EIN or resale or tax ID number
- Order history and invoices tied to your account
Why we collect it
One reasons, and only one: to verify your license so we confirm your age-verified 21+, and to fulfill your orders accurately. One order, one box, one invoice. We do not use your data to profile you, and we do not build anything on top of it beyond running your account.
Your tax ID and license are never sold or put on display
Here is our firm commitment. We never sell your data. We never share your tax ID or license number with other buyers or marketers, and we never publicly display them on the site or in any listing. They live in your account for verification and compliance, and nowhere else.
There are two narrow exceptions, both required to do business legally. We may share limited information with the service providers who help us run your account, such as our payment processor and shipping carriers. We may also disclose records when a law, regulator, or tax authority requires it. As a licensed distributor, some reporting is not optional. We keep any such disclosure to the minimum the rule requires.
Data security
Your information is stored on secured systems and is accessible only to the people who need it to run your account and ship your orders. We limit access internally and keep records only as long as we are required to for tax and regulatory purposes.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses basic cookies and standard analytics to keep the store working and to understand general traffic. This is aggregate and operational. We do not use it to expose or resell anything about your business.
Email preferences
We send order confirmations, invoices, and account notices because they are part of doing business with us. Any marketing or product-update emails are optional, and you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
