Salim Distro is a licensed Maine tobacco distributor shipping wholesale to approved retail accounts only. Everything below explains how your order moves from our warehouse to your counter, and the rules we follow to keep your shop protected.
Where we ship
What ships where depends on the product, and every product page carries a badge that says which rule applies:
- Accessories and fragrance: fragrances, lighters, torches, rolling papers, glass, grinders, scales and smoke-shop hardware ship from our Maine warehouse to approved retail accounts across the US.
- Vapor and nicotine: licensed products, shipped only to retailers holding a valid license we have verified for that destination.
- Shipping shown at checkout: your ground shipping cost is calculated from live package weight and your delivery ZIP and shown before you place the order, so the total you approve is the total you pay.
Grinders, glass and smoke shop accessories ship to approved retail accounts across the US. A mixed cart follows the stricter rule: checkout names any item that limits your ship-to options so you can split the order. If a specific item cannot lawfully be sold into your state, we hold it and tell you before the order goes out.

How your order travels
- Maine: free pickup at our Portland warehouse, or $25 same-day delivery within 50 miles of Portland. Details below.
- Everywhere else: licensed carrier freight approved to move these products.
Every purchase stays on one order and one invoice. Large orders ship in more than one package, each kept at 50 lb or less, from our single Maine warehouse.
Maine: free pickup and same-day delivery
Both options appear at checkout automatically when your ship-to address is in Maine. Maine shops can read more on our Maine wholesale page.
- Free local pickup: 151 Walton St, Portland, ME 04103. Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM (Eastern). Closed Sunday. Bring your order number. Whoever collects the order must be 21 or older.
- Same-day local delivery, $25: for Maine addresses within 50 miles of Portland. Orders placed during business hours are delivered the same day by our own driver. Vapor and nicotine products still need a signature from someone 21 or older on delivery.

Adult signature on delivery
Vapor and nicotine products ship with an adult signature required on delivery. Someone 21 or older needs to be present to sign, and the driver cannot leave the order at an unattended door, mailbox, or locker. Please make sure a staff member is available to receive and sign during business hours. Requirements can vary by state, so confirm what applies to your location.
Lead times and cutoffs
Orders placed and approved before our daily cutoff are processed the same business day. Regional deliveries are typically the fastest, given the short distance from Portland. Freight states run on the carrier’s transit schedule. Your confirmation and invoice show the expected ship window for your specific order.
If a shipment is delayed or damaged
If your delivery is late, arrives short, or shows damage, contact us right away at support@salimdistro.com with your invoice number. A partner answers you directly in writing, and we will make it right. See our returns policy for how claims are handled.
Pickup and delivery questions
Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
Yes, if your ship-to address is in Maine. Choose Local pickup at checkout, then collect at 151 Walton St, Portland, ME 04103, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM or Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM Eastern. We are closed Sunday. Pickup is free.

Anyone from your business who is 21 or older and has the order number.
Do you deliver the same day?
Yes, for Maine addresses within 50 miles of Portland. Same-day local delivery costs $25 and shows at checkout when your address qualifies. Orders placed during business hours are delivered the same day.
