Geek Bar Wholesale: All 7 Models Compared by Liquid, Flavors and Tax Cost

Geek Bar is the line most smoke shops ask for by name, and it is also the line where the spec sheets are the least useful. Seven models are currently in distribution, three of them carry a 25,000 or 50,000 puff rating, and the numbers on the box do not tell a buyer what they actually need to know: how much liquid is in the device, how much excise tax it will cost to bring in, and how many flavors they can realistically keep on a shelf.

This is a working comparison of all seven Geek Bar models we stock, built from the tank capacities we verified for tax classification and the flavor counts live in our own inventory. It is written for the person deciding what to put on a planogram, not for the person deciding what to vape tonight.

All seven models, side by side

Puffs per mL: the number nobody prints

Divide the puff rating by the liquid capacity and the marketing separates from the hardware. Every one of these devices runs a mesh coil at broadly similar power, so the liquid is what actually runs out.

The spread is more than four to one across a single brand. The Pulse 7500 rates itself at 938 puffs per mL. The Mate 60K rates itself at 4,000 from a smaller tank.

This is not an accusation that any device is defective. Puff ratings are measured on a machine at a fixed draw, and a device with a lower-wattage mode can legitimately stretch further. It does mean that a customer moving from a Pulse 7500 to a Mate 60K is not getting four times the device, and if your counter staff sell it that way you will see the returns.

If you get complaints that a high-puff device died early, this table is usually the explanation. Sell the tank size, not the number on the box.

What each display costs you in excise tax

Most states that tax vapor products do it on liquid volume, not on price. That means the tax you owe is set by the mL in the box, and two devices with the same puff rating can carry very different tax.

Here is what one display of five costs in a state taxing at $0.10 per mL, and in a state taxing at $0.05 per mL.

The line worth stopping on is Ice Prince against Pulse X2. Both are sold as 50,000 puff devices. Ice Prince carries 30 mL to the X2’s 18 mL, so in a $0.10 per mL state it costs $6.00 more per display in tax for the same headline number. Across ten displays that is $60 of margin that never appears on an invoice line.

Ice Prince is not the wrong product. It is a genuinely bigger device and it holds its flavor longer, which is why it sells. But if you are stocking a per-mL tax state and pricing against a competitor who stocked the X2, you need to know why your floor cost is higher before you discount to match them.

Rates vary widely by state, and a handful tax a percentage of wholesale cost instead of volume, which flips this analysis entirely. Our state-by-state vape excise tax table covers all fifty states and DC, checked against the statutes.

Flavor depth, and why it decides your facings

Flavor count is the difference between a display that turns and a display that sits. These are live counts from our current inventory, not the manufacturer’s full catalog.

• Pulse 7500 / 15000: 58 flavors. The deepest bench in the brand, including the zodiac and Mintz editions. If you want one Geek Bar facing that can be re-merchandised every month without reordering a new model, this is it.
• Pulse X 25K: 45 flavors. The workhorse. Enough depth to build a full four-facing set and still rotate.
• Pulse X2 50K: 29 flavors. Includes the Bull Edition run. Narrower, but the 50K rating carries the sale.
• Pulse 2 25K: 22 flavors. Newer line, including the Hubba series.
• Mate 60K Pods: 11 flavors. Mate 60K Kit: 7 flavors. Note the mismatch. The pod range is wider than the kit range, which is normal for a pod system and is the reason to stock both together. A customer who buys a kit flavor you cannot refill does not come back.
• Ice Prince 50K: 10 flavors. The shallowest range here. Treat it as a hero SKU beside a deeper line, not as a standalone set.

A practical rule: do not build a Geek Bar section out of only 50K and 60K devices. The high-puff models carry the thinnest flavor ranges, so a section built only from them looks empty within two weeks of a customer picking a favorite.

FDA authorization status, stated plainly

None of the seven Geek Bar models listed here hold an FDA marketing authorization. That is not unique to Geek Bar. The overwhelming majority of flavored disposables sold in the United States are in the same position, and only a very short list of products, mostly tobacco-flavored cartridge systems and certain nicotine pouches, have been authorized.

We state this because a retailer deciding what to stock deserves to know it up front. It affects your exposure if your state enforces a registry or directory law, and several now do. Check your own state’s directory before you commit shelf space to any disposable, from any brand, from any distributor. A supplier who tells you a flavored disposable is FDA approved is either mistaken or lying to you.

How to read the pack sizes

Every Geek Bar model here ships as a display of five. That is the wholesale unit. When you see a per-unit price quoted anywhere in this category, confirm whether it is per device or per display before you compare it to anything, because a five times error in either direction is the single most common mistake in this trade.

The Mate 60K is the one to watch. It is sold as two separate items, the kit and the replacement pods, and both come as displays of five. Ordering kits without pods leaves you with a device your customer cannot keep using.

Liquid capacities were compiled during excise tax classification, where an incorrect figure creates a real tax liability, so each one was checked against at least two independent published sources and disagreements were resolved in favor of the manufacturer’s own specification. The single exception is noted above. Flavor counts are live counts from our own inventory on the date of publication and will drift as stock moves. Puffs per mL is our own arithmetic on the manufacturer’s published puff rating divided by the verified tank capacity, and it is a comparison of claims, not a measurement.
